Impossible Rescue (C++, Cocos2dX)

Team amount: 9 people

This game has been inspired by classic games such as Manic Miner and Impossible Mission to create a 2D Single-Screen Platformer for today’s gamers. The player takes control of a character in order to navigate a series of single-screen, theme-based environments, interacting with various platforms, avoiding/destroying enemies, and ‘hacking’ computers in order to progress from one area to the next. There is a progression in difficulty and environments which should is reflected in the art style and gameplay. The game runs on a PC.

Personal impact:

  • Worked with the in-game UI
  • Fully developed and implemented main and pause menu (adaptive – could be used with either controller or keyboard)
  • Worked with the game-opening sequence
  • Developed on-screen player tutorial
  • Worked with the player health UI
  • Helped with the sound effects implementation, player development, and levels creation

Descendants of Artio (Blueprints, Unreal Engine)

Team amount: 9 people

A 3D exploring game based on Gaelic mythology. After losing memory one of the demigods wakes up and starts his adventure. You need to solve mysterious puzzles and shapeshift to progress through the game. Find answers and explore areas to remember everything.

personal impact

  • Worked with the player interactions such as object grabbing/pushing, ledge climbing, death and respawn
  • Created base for the UI Cues
  • Worked with sound implementation
  • Collaborated with artists to implement and improve (cut and test with root motion) all animations into the game

Dream Kitchen (C#, Unity)

Team amount: 4 people

A 2D UI based mobile game inspired by “Order Up!! To Go”. Prevent your kitchen from becoming a nightmare by cooking quicker and more accurately. Prepare delicious meals and decorate your kitchen to your own taste. Unlock more recipes and décor as you tap away preparing your favorite dishes.

  • Worked with a UI set-up and UI mechanics
  • Developed base code for the orders and ingredients
  • Created a cutting minigame (2 variants)
  • Worked with the swipe input
  • Worked with achievement system (created a basic variant)

Star Stone (C++, Unreal Engine)

Team amount: 20+ people

Star Stone is a multiplayer 3D brawler game that built on the innovative gameplay introduced by its predecessor, Power Stone 2. Star Stone allows up to four players to choose from multiple characters and utilize different items in battle. Power Stone 2 originated as an arcade game. It’s working with PS4(prototype).

personal impact:

  • Worked with the AI development
  • Made a quite similar AI to Power Stone 2 — it had an ability to find, attack player on range and melee as well as find weapons and other pickups
  • Worked with Unreal Engine behavior trees, AI tasks creation, and implementation

Echoes Origins (C#, Unity)

Team amount: 20+ people

2.5D single-screen platformer which is a prequel to Lingering Echoes. The story tells us about a usual miner who wants to escape a corrupted dungeons filled with monsters and puzzles. The player needs to complete puzzles and avoid enemies to progress through the game.

  • Worked with the NPC interactions and UI cues
  • Created breakable objects
  • Collaborated with the designers to create level events and puzzles
